Everyone everywhere is STRESSED out. I have a great idea.......let's Shapeshift!

Stress is our modern bug-a-boo. And our world is full of situations that cause it!

Just scroll through your news feed and BAM - stress.  (At least that is how it is for me, how about you?)  There is so much social unrest in our world and our society.  When you add that to the humanitarian issues of pandemics, poverty and our decaying environment......well, that is a lot to feel stressed- out about.

Let's SHAPE-SHIFT! (to manage all that freaking stress)

The alternative to stress is relaxation.  And I have a QUICK and EASY way to de-stress!   When I say "Shape-Shift" you might be thinking about werewolves or some weird sci-fi fantasy character.  But no.  What I am talking about is a mental shift in your thoughts by visualizing a different shape.  What shape?  A pebble. 

De-Stressing and Relaxation through Visualization!


If I tell you to close your eyes and imagine a red apple, you can do that, right?  Try it.  It is easy to visualize something like that in your mind.  That simple visualization is the key to this De-Stressing activity.   I call it, "BE THE PEBBLE."

Close your eyes and imagine a shallow, little stream.  It is cool and shaded.  The water is flowing gently.  Maybe there is a small waterfall nearby that keeps the water moving.  But SEE IT in your mind.  (With your eyes closed.) 

Now, imagine that YOU are a little pebble right in that little stream.  The water is flowing by you, over and around you, and it is cool and gentle.  Breathe slowly and deeply as you imagine being the little pebble.  Breathe in to the count of 3, hold it, and then breathe out to the count of 3.  Keep deep breathing, and keep de-stressing as you imagine yourself as a pebble. 

The pebble isn't worried, it isn't thinking.  The pebble is.  It just IS.  No thoughts, no stress, just the cool, clear water gently flowing over and around you!  Sit and enjoy this peace and calm as long as you need to.

When you open your eyes, you will be LESS STRESSED and MORE RELAXED!  And this is how you visualize and become a shape-shifter.
